An app is helping expecting mothers spend less time at the doctor's office. It's called "Babyscripts."
Patients get a 'mommy kit' and download the app. The moms-to-be are responsible for taking their own blood pressure and weighing themselves every two weeks. That data then gets sent right to their physician, and they are notified immediately if there's a problem.
Reading Health Foundation provided a grant to make this possible.
